During those two years I might have had four dates in total. After graduating, I had to find a job and concentrate on making a suitable impression to pass probation (one year). Then I had to take the Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination in order to become a licensed engineer. Once all of that was out of the way, my life became my own.
At age 26, your social/dating life seems to mirror my own at the same age.00 Reply

Imagine you are 30 and want a wife and a family, and you never learned what it means to be in a relationship and how to treat women/your girlfriend.
It'll be hard for you, exspecially because guys that age are expected to be smooth and how to behave.
You cannot miss something you've never experienced. But once you experience it, you will regret for not doing it earlier.
And everything is more fun when you can share it with someone you really like. And a relationship goes abit deeper than friendships.01 Reply
Not perse, at least you are more focussed on yourself and your own growth. A relationship can sometimes hold your growth back when its not healthy. But on the other side it’s good to have a relationship sometimes too because it would make you experience new stuff and think. If you have a healthy relationship, it can even make you a better person.

Yeah, its not like I wasn't trying to find any also. I Just get ghosted a lot or stood up.
+1 yNo it's not good. You need social interaction with the opposite sex or you will wind up sidelined when the guys with more socialization are getting the dates while you are twiddling your thumbs. There is at least one good thing, you didn't get a girl pregnant at 16 and gotten your ass in a sling for 18 years with child support.

Well met a guy when I was 17... we were watching football on tv his favorite team was playing I just watched cause he liked it.. my friend called went to the other room answered her call.. he came wanting me to watch it she was having guy troubles so I put up my finger to say 1 minute and turned towards the window.. he picked me up put me over his shoulder.. tv started cheering he started running I was staring at back... my head hit the corner of the door jam I fell off his shoulder down steps.. woke up in a pool of blood around my head.. if I never met him I would have never had health issues like I do.. he left when I was told id never walk again but I walk perfectly fine now.. he even tried to come back got an email.. I just got my brother to change my email password and never replied created a new email... Biggest regret is not pressing charges honestly I wanted to get on with my life had no idea over 10 years later it still affect me off and on!! I didn't ask to be picked up.. I wish I never met him!

- +1 y
Yeah, me too well, ypu found your guy I need to find me my girl
- +1 y
She will come along dont rush it.. good things take time.. rushing creates chaos! Enjoy your life: pursue your dreams, be the type of man you think a woman would be lucky to have!
Know this one thing you are complete on your own.. you dont need anyone to complete you! You want to find someone that adds value to your life that accepts and loves you fully just as you are!! - +1 y
Do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't hurt anyone in the process!! Love exists no matter what age you are! I didn't find my man until I was 28.. I thought id be alone forever was going to become a hermit

" Kk, just feels weird because I know some of my other friends are married or having families "
yeah same here, all my friends are pretty much married with kids by now... wel one i know is divorced but still i did feel left behind at one point. but eventually i found that i should just be happy for them and not spiteful or anything. just accept that it might be harder for you than others. and beleive that it will happen someday - +1 y

Opinion Owner+1 yYou say in your bio your a nerd, Work on your looks and get out there. Well maybe im talking from the girl perspective and for guys its different but you should enjoy your life now and relationships are big part if it
Opinion Owner+1 yAlso get to 30 maybe you will understand

Sometimes I like to feel that women are basically forced to or just have no choice but to date while young since they are the ones always being pursued or sought after, men never have the luxury of having women pursue them, sure women don't control which guys come up to them or pursue them but since it happens to them a lot out of all those guys that pursue them there's bound to be a guy where the attraction is mutual
+1 yIt is important

Don’t you think dating as a teenager is way too young?
