Do you want someone that is sweet, loving & friendly polite to everyone and classy or a girl that has a bit of an edge & can be bitchy sometimes and not afraid to speak her mind?

basically someone able to stand up to me and not get swamped.

the really important bit for me, is that there needs to be an emotional connection, hence some of the bits above.

Someone quiet and passive would be a nightmare.

The 1st one. You see the ability to speak your mind is usually an effect of someone who is not courteous. You can be the first one and still speak you mind. I don't want a girl who cannot be a kind person due to a lack of emotional control. Fuck off. Just because you have the right to say whatever you want doesn't mean you should.

I value kindness and warmth. So I love sweet girls who are kind and caring to everyone. It just absolutely melts my heart to see a girl being good to people just for the sake of being good to them. I love it. Hard to find though. It usually takes me 3 or so years between break ups to find someone like that.

I like someone sweet and polite but strong and confident. Who knows when to be kind and when to be candid. They do not have to mutually exclusive. If she considers being bitchy as speaking her mind, she is mistaken and I don't care for such people, women or men. I speak my mind when I find it important, hopefully without being a jerk.
