Why the double standards and why do you think you can do anything you want?
Yes I’m stupidly attracted to Arab men but I’m sick of this behaviour. Thank you.
What's wrong miss alyssa rapunzel, why are you angry? 🙂
Men and women are different, i believe that a woman cannot do everything that a man does cause men does a lot of wrong things that women shouldn't be doing it!
About the relationships, a woman can have a past relationship because we all have fell in love in some points of our lives and we all have feelings and emotions, it's not your fault if it didn't worked out!
About smoking and drinking, each person is free in his/her life before marriage, we are born free, i cannot force you to stop doing something if i want to be free cause there's this saying which goes like that "live and let live"
About the virginity, i totally agree that a woman should lose her virginity only after marriage and no one is allowed to see her naked except her husband, now if you ask me "should men also remain without sex till marriage?" I'll gladly tell you ofc cause sex should only be between a married couple...
A woman should follow her husband after marriage and the man IS the head of the house but that doesn't mean that he's the king and she's the slave or that he's a dictator...
Not all arab men are hypocrites, maybe the majority are but not all 😌
Thanks for the mho 😊
Not an Arab guy, but this isn’t some religious thing, or have anything to do with principle.
They want what they want and like what they like, that’s all, it’s that simple. Women do the same shit.

Because of religion ... Islam says a guy.. Can do all activities.. because they're like actually a person... While girls.. They're are like a proberty.. a side kick.. An object you must hide and protect so that nobody touch it or steal it.. They can't even go outside without a man.. They have to cover all of their skin... even after that.. Their voice is also a problem... Eye contact is even a problem... I could go on and on but it's boring... Lol you're asking why are they like that? Because they were raised in societies with desert rules from more than a thousand years ago.. Islam spent too much time on making less of women and how to control them.. Lol i don't even know how you can get past this statement by Muhammad..
" ناقصات عقل و دين "
He was actually making fun of women saying their testimony is half the man's.. So they're less brains.. And that they have periods so they can't pray or fast.. So they're less religious... That's why most of people in hell were women when he saw them... Those were the actual words of the celebrated prophet... You keep playing games and ignoring reality while you know everything Arab women suffer is because of Islam.. if you can't admit or see that.. You're just brainwashed ( exactly what they want ) or just lying to yourself...
It’s just that hypocritical mindset that some Muslims have (I’m a Muslim too) that a girl must be next to perfect when it comes to the deen, but a guy can mess around do what he wants then settle down with a “good girl” who will “fix” him.
Like no thank you, please fix yourself before you want to marry me please- I’m all for not letting someone’s past define them, but you can’t just marry someone and expect they will fix you, if you really want to fix yourself and become better at the deen, it has to come from you yourself.
But it’s worth noting what I said in the first paragraph, is Islam. The expectation that girls should practice and with guys is doesn’t matter is purely a cultural distortion of Islam.
Yup, honestly I was raised with a mixture of culture and Islam that now I’m actually practicing for myself a low key feel like a revert lol
Oh and let’s not forget some guys being so passionate about the “4 wives” Sunnah, yet they won’t even pray 5 salah, or share the same passion for the Sunnah of doing household chores lol
@SpiderManFan2002
You are wrong, 4 wives is not circumcision, it is a license. God tells us to settle for just one.
@TurkishDİxon3419 Islam gives a man the right to marry up to 4 times. But only if he can fulfill his Islamic duties and treat them justly then Allah tells us to settle for one. :)
@SpiderManFan2002
Yes it is, but to be fair. This is due to the large female population. So that single girls don't get dragged into prostitution.
@SpiderManFan2002
You will treat them all equally, you will buy a house, you cannot have them all in the same house. If you can do it, get it.
Guys if we get into the 4 wives thing we're gonna be here for years lol. I have a strong opinion on this and I don't really want to go into it.
I'm just gonna say that it was relevant at the time and if you do some historical research, men used to marry like 20 women and it was an international practice. The 4 wives provision came in to regulate the practice and help women solidify their rights.
Moreover the provision is followed by another one stating it is only to be done if it is just to do so. In a Western case, it's not just to do so and it's not relevant at all. In some parts of the world, it's totally still applicable. For instance, some villages continue to practice polygyny and during wars, widows may need to financially depend on men through marriage. Anywho, we all know that infidelity is a sin in Islam - a VERY big one.
I just want to conclude by saying that a lot of our mainstream understanding of Islam and Quranic verses have been given to us by MALE jurists. This means that the provisions have been interpreted by MEN. Indeed, God is no way victimising women and if you know a thing or two about the Quran, you'd know that it was historically the biggest text to advocate for the rights of women. Saying 4 wives is an acceptable practice would contradict the narrative of the Quran.
In summary, the practice of polygyny/4 wives goes way beyond the superficial. It does not automatically translate to a man being able to marry 4 women because he feels like it.
@alyssa11 It is permissible to marry 4 women. It is not circumcision, you do not get a reward when you receive it, you take responsibility. This is not historical, it is still valid now. But one more thing, if you're married you can marry that person to your single friends and get rewards instead of getting a second wife, that's true.
@TurkishDİxon3419 I studied Islam and did a lot of reading about the topic. This is my understanding and I stand firmly by it.
@alyssa11
Yes, but there is no such understanding. Even now, unofficial polygamy is common in the world. Lots of people have multiple dates, girlfriends, mistresses.
@rcljr Ideally when Muslims marry for the first time, both husband and wife should be virgins because pre-marital sex is forbidden in Islam.
Secondly which Muslim men do you know of who marry 9-year-olds? Lol.
@SpiderManFan2002 there's a hadith about your prophet marrying a 9 year old girl
@Likethesky But the dude says Muslim men- the Prophet Muhammad was one man.
But that would mean Muslims think it is okay to marry 9 year olds
Well majority are Sunni so I think what they say matters a lot
Well I said I’m not having this discussion but as a Muslim I must say - there is no evidence that this happened except by tradition. Traditions were provided by jurists and so it’s not very reliable. Unfortunately there are blind followers of the religion who believe everything they read.
I’m a Shia Muslim, and if you don’t know what this is you can google it. We have a different set of reliable traditions and even better, we don’t believe that traditions have been solidified 100s of years ago and we have to follow them. We believe in setting new rules appropriate for the time and setting we live in today. We also don’t believe in the validity of the tradition that states Aisha was 9 years old.
All in all, if you’re discriminatory then I understand you’ll hate regardless and honestly I don’t care. As a Muslim however I have to defend my beliefs for anyone who doesn’t know the truth.
@Likethesky No not really. Firstly, Muslims don’t do absolutely everything the Prophet did.
See this article from Yaqeen Institute here: yaqeeninstitute.org/.../understanding-aishas-age-an-interdisciplinary-approach
And a 12 minute video explaining your misconception: https://youtu.be/BCZDOCZdw2s
@Alyssa11 I’d disagree with you on that one sister. It is in an authentic Hadith that the Prophet signed the marriage contract with Aisha when she was 6, and then they consummated when she was 9.
The video and article I provided explains the issue much better than I could.
I understand but I was not having this discussion with you, it was with spider. But I am trying to understand the mind of the majority, do the Sunni majority think that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) married a 9 year old?
@SpiderManFan2002 I read a yaqeen institute article defending murdering someone for leaving religion. I will never listen to what they say
See @Alyssa11 this is what I mean. It doesn't matter what you or some others think if the majority is stubborn
@Likethesky Can you link the article where Yaqeen Institute defended murdering somebody for leaving the religion?
Interesting. Can you show me this “American media” please?
yaqeeninstitute.org/.../the-issue-of-apostasy-in-islam
you may interpret it however you want but I only see this is article as defending apostasy punishment saying it was just a law to make someone afraid not to be applied. And I don't think that made a difference in any way. And I also ask that why is it such a big deal if some scholars said a hadith is authentic, there's an hadith that says kill a muslim for leaving their religion. Will you want to defend that hadith
And before you ask yes that hadith was labelled authentic. There are also hadiths in Sahih Bukhari that support stoning for adultery, will you also defend them?
Oh honey, I’m not interpreting the article “how I want” I’m going to read what it says and explain it to you. After all Islam is objective, not subjective.
Okay so the article mentions the term “ridda” which in English translates to “apostasy.” Now this is why it’s important to have some level of understanding of Classical Arabic if you sincerely want to learn about Islam, because you can’t take a secular definition of a translated word and apply it to what was written 1400 years ago. There’s bound to be inconsistency somewhere. Hence the article explains about the word “ridda:””Though we’ll refer to ridda as apostasy for the sake of convenience, as in so many cases, the heart of the matter lies in the simple act of translation. In the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the early Muslim community, the Arabic noun ridda and the verb for engaging in it were understood not as meaning a personal choice of changing one’s religion but as the public act of political secession from the Muslim community.”
This article explains how “apostasy” is defined by today’s English: “Interestingly, this dimension of apostasy as betraying and opposing one’s community, missing in the normal usage of the English word ‘apostasy,’ is actually recovered in sociological studies of apostasy. Many studies looking at those who leave religious groups as well as communities defined by secular ideologies show that what distinguishes apostates from those who simply leave is that apostates become active opponents of their previous identity, more renegades than mere dissenters.”
The article then further explains about “ridda” in Islam: “Along the same lines, the problem with ridda in Islam was not that a person was exercising their freedom of conscience and choosing to no longer follow the religion. The problem was when such a decision became a public act with political implications.”
Nowhere in the article does it say to kill somebody for simply changing their religion. That is absolute nonsense and you clearly didn’t read the article.
As for Hadiths being authentic it’s not a matter of “some scholars saying” there’s a whole process to determining the authenticity of a Hadith: aboutislam.net/.../
I’ll defend any Hadith that is authentic, just as I am sure you would defend what you believe is the truth. And note, that these rulings would not apply in a country where Shariah Law is not implemented, and here’s a surprise for you- there is no country in the world in which Shariah law is implemented.
@alyssa11
@SpiderManFan2002
@Likethesky
Don't lie, she's not 9 years old. Since the age of children before puberty is not counted in Arabs, it is called 9 years old. Starts counting after puberty. Actual age should be 18-19. She was engaged before Muhammad, that is, she was of marriageable age. Our Prophet did not marry her for sex, otherwise she would not have married Khadija, she was 20 years older than our Prophet. His aim was to have hadith dictated, he wanted to find someone young and smart. Many hadiths were transmitted by our mother Aisha.
I didn't bother to read a long article I read the punishment section and a few after that. There clearly says a hadith defending killing Muslims for leaving religion. And so if someone publicly says he would leave the religion and the community he is to be killed? And you expect people to agree with that? I stand by what I said about this article.. What is the problem if someone wants everyone to know that he/she's not Muslim?
And so Saudi Arabia doesn't apply Sharia law but it would be okay if Saudi Arabia applied the laws I talked about?
There are hadiths labelled as authentic that are violating human rights. I don't care if the law is implemented or not. If Islam is supposed to be the true religion then why shouldn't be the laws of Islam implemented? Doesn't it imply that those Muslim countries are disagreeing with their own religion?
Are you trying to tell me Islam has a set of laws that are never to be applied? The hadiths of stoning I talked about happened most likely happened in Mecca or Medina. Mecca and Medina are cities not countries, it was similar to any Muslim city or country at present, majority living there are Muslim and some minority religion and those hadiths say those punishments were applied
See if you defend those hadiths it translates that you agree with those human right violations. Which also translates that if there existed a Muslim country that applied those laws then you would agree with them.
If you think those are truths and that's how the majority thinks then probably anyone who was thinking of converting to Islam would just leave the thought after doing a bit of research.
@TurkishDİxon3419 bro I'm not saying she was married as a 9 year old. I'm just asking why the group that calls themselves Sunni defends hadiths I talked about. Since they are the majority of Muslims, their views impact how others view Muslims
man I don’t know I personally wouldn’t date my own kind or Arab men because I heard that they’re machoists and expect women to do all the work 🤦♂️ I’m glad I’m with the person I’m with right now he’s amazing he cleans, he cooks, he’s so sweet I love him.
We get almost nothing but male Arabs immigrating to Sweden and the few women that immigrate here are always controlled by Arab men. We don't like Arab men too much neither, although I'm sure that there are nice Arab men too. I personally believe Islam's saturation of the Arab world and the religion's appraisal of men together with it's undervalue of women has something to do with it. Did you know that the Quran and hadiths say that a woman's testimony is only half that of a man "due to her intelligence"
You're just frustrated with your family problems and rather ignorant in general, is all. You've shoehorned a whole bunch of people (Arabs are different cultures and nationalities) into your own limited views and tried to slander them.
You should be ashamed of yourself for being such an ill informed bigot. You might as well call yourself a racist and a wannabee coconut. One hoping some White guy like me will come along and "rescue" you.
Because arabic culture is based on the religious teachings of said area. The problem is that most religious people of any religion just nitpick what they want to follow and what they do not want to follow.
In addition it will get worse with time as people growing older become more conservative and in this case more religious.
Arab world is a disgrace to rest of the Muslim world.
The kind of dance they make women do for them, the drinking, the smoking, the double standards, not letting women drive and not issuing them driver's licenses, spinelessness to the extent of licking Zionists' feet... not saying that other places don't have their own issues but Arab Muslim world is a disgrace.
You can always date a latino😉
*Jocke. In Latin America we have serious problems wih gender violence.
Culture plays a big role. I know in the Arab world religion is taken very serious, therefore I am not sure how you will deal with the process of detaching from the teocratic view enrolled in your culture. Good luck with that.
I agree that only a virgin man/woman has the right to demand a virgin partner
You are right, Arab men do Zina, drink khamer and smoke Shisha but they want pure virgin, untouched girl for marriage, really double standard and shocking
Its their upbringing - they think they are all powerful - when someone challenges their stupidity - 100 lashes..
I say.. come at me bro! Lash this!
aww did I trigger someone
It is easier for you to change your tastes and become interested in men from other countries than for them to change just because some women complain about them.
I love Arab women but Arab men are schmucks. Rana Mohammad on YouTube is an Arab women I have a major crush on right now.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/EigKKJEvdBYThere is nothing attractive about Muslim men or Arab men, although the middle eastern look can be attractive ONLY if his personality is Western as in Judeo christian morality, humor, intelligence, sexuality, Muslim men have nothing going for them
YOU HONESTY SHOULD BE BANNED FOR THAT COMMENT!
MissyMe still regurgitates around these colors
That Regurgitating Bitch , MissyMe should be Banned for EVER! Good riddance Bitch.!
You're nothing but a Regurgitating, Republican Bitch like your husband.
@FamilyGuy2020 Glad someone can see lol
Alyssa, you're nothing like a Regurgitating Bitch
if you're not what they want, why the fuck do you complain? there's a crowd for every show. why be mad at people that aren't your shows crowd?
Islam, just as all religions, is a shitty antihuman thing. Don't you expect anything great about Muslim values, as those are based on faith and not on reason.
Just the way they were raised. Women aren’t equal to men. It’s not hypocritical to them because they don’t see women as the same.
Ah welcome to good old misogyny.
Do they view women differently? Is there equality between men and women im Arab countries?
I was under the understanding that alcohol was forbidden to Muslims.
A woman's freedom must be constrained and muslims understand this very well. Islam is right about women.
I thought only white girls were unclassy enough to bash the men of their own ethnicity, now I'm seeing an Arab girl bash Arab men, how ironic.
Stupid white girls are gathering followers worldwide!
And to all Christians and white guys overly catering to her feeeewings:
SHOW SOME FUCKING CLASS!
You don't need a wimpy girl in your lives either, so don't judge Arab men.
Why don’t you try an American man cough’ cough’
Because culture of muslims teach them to be lazy hypocrites. Speaking from experience
Ah shit what I said would start a comment section war. Please just remove my opinion
I'm G@G for just the funs, I don't want any heated debates
Umm remove my opinion please
@Alyssa11 at first I'm sorry, I should clarify things. I am a Muslim, and basically just pissed about the Sunni majority defending things I spoke about. When I saw spiders opinion about the 9 year old thing I wanted to know what she thought without telling I was Muslim but my mistake for pulling that conversation long to other things.
About my opinion about the question, I think I gave a oversimplified answer.
Basically what you said actually applies to Muslims from all races. At present how our culture is that usually it makes us either drifts us away from religion because too much strictness or turns us into a religious extremist.
I'm not saying it's the fault of Islam rather it's the fault of the culture at present.
The drifted away are like this,
They are stuck at a zone where they want to enjoy the things the culture restricts but are still enough influenced by the culture to want some parts of it. That's why some Muslim guys (not just Arabs) are like what you said.
sorry... I was mean to you in the replies, I don't disagree with what you said to me in those replies. I was not wanting to tell anyone I'm muslim because I didn't want to be told that I was disbelieving or sinning by disagreeing with hadiths. I started having doubts about my religion when I first learned about things I talked about. That's why some things that people said set me on rage mode.
It wasn't your fault. You didn't start any debates. Other people came and started it (including me lol). And there's almost no offended Arab guy here. There are some mean opinions here against Arab guys but most of these people are always mean against Arab guys.
by the way if you're thinking I'm offended then don't worry, I'm not. And I am not Arab if you were thinking I am.
Fucking camel jockeys. You need a taste of sweet White Man d.
That's oddly specific, but sure. lol
come on , everybody know that most patriarchal countries mostly are from mid east , use logic a little bit
*checks my mirror*
im not an arab! Pheww. ;)
You’re probably gonna go to the white man. Typical white washed Middle East woman
Haven’t seen polling or research on this but I wouldn’t be surprised
This happens not only to Arabs but also to Muslims. But Muslim girls are also hypocritical. Why do you like men who think like that?
you should go back to church and learn your religion instead of mouthing off. you're definitely a cultural arab/muslim and not for real. if lgbt was normal in arabia you would 100% be a sodomite too.
Which begs the question - why do you keep picking Arab men if you know how they are and don't like it?
Because RELIGION thats why!! Unlike all of them, I believe women are equal!
I’m sexier who needs them!
I agree a 100%. It’s probably because of the misogynistic culture.
Time to switch to the Chad Christian man Alyssa 💪
You did ask a literal question about Arab men being hypocrites in general so opinions aimed that way can't really be that much of a surprise.
I'll just say it for the record, there's a reason many of them are arrogant and hypocritical. Being an Arab woman yourself you must concede that it does have to do with the culture, and to an extent, Islam. I know, I'm a white Christian male, but I've spoken with many Arabs and heard many ex-Muslims talk of it. I also experience the downsides of it daily as a politician dealing with massive influxes of Middle Eastern, Islamic immigration. I don't know if you fully exclude other ethnicities and cultures or not in your dating circles but I could recommend trying it if that is the case.
Indeed.
Try a different ethnicity 😉
Maybe all are not discriminating, they just want a chance with you lol
Yeah, bro... I completely agree...😉
i didn't know they all were
Just a fly on the wall for this one.
Are you Muslim?
The current Arabs make Islam look bad, if not all.
Which country are you from?
All Arabs make Islam look bad? The girl is Arab for your info. 💀
@Alejandro3000
Many, not all. The Saudis who paid a million dollars for a stupid painting while Yemen was starving. Arab states that don't care about Syrians. We look after millions of Syrians, Arabs do not look at their race and co-religionists.
What a group or government do has no reflection on a population or individual on the dating scene.
@Alejandro3000
You don't understand what I'm saying, I'm not saying all Arabs are bad. I would say a lot of them are bad.
Why because they have wealth? All your doing is inciting hatred, playing on a girls feelings because she's from Yemen. That's really low dude. I'm done with this convo
@Alejandro3000
I'm telling the truth, I'm not saying it's all bad, I didn't say you are bad or something to this girl, where did you come up with that? I mentioned them because the subject is Arabs. They give millions of dollars to unnecessary things while their own fellows are starving.
You're continuing to incite hatred 🤦, I don't want to continue this convo anymore
@Alejandro3000
I'm telling the non-hater, Arab states are not doing anything for Islam, they are just doing something for their luxury. are you also arab?
I thought it was Muslims all over the world
Muslim men**
Can I ask you Alyssa, whY are you so Angry?
This^^^^
All men are hypocrites
What have I been saying all along
Same reason why other women are hypocrites.
what the..
I could be like the others here and just agree with you, I'm not Arab or Muslim, but I absolutely will not disrespect anyone for the fun of it. Dating is a harsh game and you're upset, you just have to accept that a guy wants sex after marriage and find someone who also is on the same page. That's not unreasonable. Taking rejection badly is not a good feeling, it makes you feel worse. The person wasn't right for you, not your fault, so take it as a good signal that they didn't waste your time and allowed you to move on to someone who will like you for who you are.
Would you hold your cool if guy was getting attention from lots of girls whilst dating you?
Alyssa 🌚🌝
I'm not Arab.
Uneducated savages
