That depends on whether or not, the circumstances that made him your ex-benifits, also made him your ex-friend, as well.
The "benifits" part of the "friend's with benifits" package is supposed too be the optional part, not the friendship itself.
Otherwise, there is no benifit to rolling around under the covers, with your male friends.

You still haven't clarified his relationship status with you. Is he still your friend, and if you believe that he is capable of toxic behavior and attitudes toward you then maybe he isn't your friend. I think that should be your primary concern right there not what he means, but whether you should even care what he says or not. If you call him a friend then he's looking out for your best interest, and if you don't, then it doesn't matter what he says.

It's so weird with him. Like he will say what's on his mind and I respect that but some shit is just mean like this... like my ex friends with benefits is into humiliation during sex... but outside of sex we have very genuine conversations and he tries to lead me in a good direction (has successful) he's an acquaintance I'll say... not really a friend...
