Did you become emotionally attached to the person who took your virginity?

Unfortunately this applies to me I lost my virginity at age 26 and I've never had a relationship at all he was my very first boyfriend and my first relationship but even though things ended on bad terms and I was extremely hurt, we ended up getting back together recently and he still let's me call him and we still talk on the phone and we still have sex every time we see each other. But I must admit I've ignored a lot of red flags and I've ignored my family's advice on not to pursue this relationship because even though they've never met him before, I've talked about him a lot to my family and even showed pictures of him but they were convinced that he was not a good guy but and I was warned by mother not to lose my virginity to him because she knew it would end badly but even before we had sex, I've already developed an emotional attachment to him and I loved the attention he gives me.

So the night I lost my virginity to him, he had sex with me very roughly and saying sexual things to me as if it wasn't my first. I bled a little bit but It still turned me on. But we've been knowing each other for over 8 years and it started off as a long distance relationship because we meet online and we both lived in different states. But I recently moved closer to him to be with him more but he's the only guy I've ever been with and I still and will always love him.
