Taking the first step?

Do guys don't like girls who take the first step? I mean texting them for the first time or things like that?
Also do they hate when a girl is direct and speaks her mind? Not in a rude way of course, I mean in a pure way with no bad intentions just because she is like that.

For example telling him how great he is or that he looks handsome, is it a turn off if they are still getting to know each other not in a relationship?

I like a girl who speaks her mind and makes moves. Doesn’t have to be all the time but it’s good in any relationship to have two people working to make things work.

It depends on the guy. I would like it. It's kind of hard to gauge things with women. I can talk to them just fine it's just when admitting a romantic intention it's hard, scary and just plain nerve racking.

tons of guys love women like that, women who make the first move or are the initiators in terms of starting a relationship, but why do i get the feeling those type of women will always be in the extreme minority
