Some guys don't and there are guys out there that don't want kids for personal reasons. For me the honest truth is that physical intimacy does require a level of trust that isn't easily earned. Also having a child is a hard no. I had some screwed up experiences growing up and I would hut down the person that did it to my kid. Being a hyper vigilant parent or parenting from prison makes it pretty much impossible to be a good parent. So I took steps to ensure that I will not have a child.

Depends on the stage of life you are in (guy or girl).
You may find that people change after an event in their life or just grow apart (different goals and aspirations), so someone they thought they would have children with is no longer right for them.

It also aids in sexual and relationship maturity - each experience helps someone to grow and develop for the right person

That’s one reason people have babies they don’t want. Usually it ends up being the woman’s responsibility. They leave them and sometimes, never bother knowing what their child even looks like. Messed up if you ask me.
