i hate falling in love it takes a lot of my time i started thinking about him the worst is we are in the same class he tries to talk to me but i can't say anything i guess it will stay platonic

It doesn’t have to stay that way. Try to ask him out. The worst thing that can happen is he will say no. But if he says no it’s still okay, it’ll help you get use to rejection. Yes, it sucks and nobody likes being rejected, but it’s a part of life. Sometimes you won’t get a job where you really wanted to work at and sometimes you won’t get the guy you really wanted, but that doesn’t mean you don’t try to do it. If I get fired I’ll just be like whatever I’ll get another one in 2 weeks. The more you experience it, the easier it gets dealing with it. It really sucks and nobody likes it though, but if you do nothing to address the issue it’ll get worse.

Or even try it by writing an email, but don’t keep it brief.

Failing for friends can be hard, as if they don’t return it, then you are risking friendship.
