For me Noting is wrong about waiting for someone to turn 18 as long as you love her but yes nothing is wrong waiting but the problem is is it ok for her parents? Parents is always a problem I mean of course as a girl Our parents don't want us to get hurt so they should be the first to know about this kind of things like in my situation in the past 1 month ago 😅someone confess to me and I reject him since My parents dont know then he said that he will wait for me when I turn 18 but I let my Parents know since I dont wnat them to worry so my mom said it was ok but I still reject him since Im still studying and, NO boys that are waiting for girls is not a problem and it doesn't affect the Girls studies.😅But you should make sure if it's ok and ask her parents permission first thats all.
