Is skinny dipping sexual?

So this guy and I have been talking for awhile we went on 1 date and the next 1 he wants to go skinny dipping. Is it too soon to see each other naked? Is this just to get in my pants or am I just being shy and weird?

no he definitely wants to get in your pants. Skinny dipping can be very fun and nonsexual, but if he's romantically pursuing you and wants to go skinny dipping with just the two of you he's probably hoping the night will develop into something more. That said, that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you going with him as long as you're comfortable with the idea and with him, but just for the sake of safety I would advise not being alone and naked with him if you don't know him that well. Maybe you could suggest a swimming date but with your bathing suits on? I think that could be pretty fun. But in summary, no you're not being shy and weird and it is definitely your prerogative to decide whether you're comfortable with this idea or not.

Only 1 date, yeah its too soon. It doesn't have to be sexual. Nudity in itself isn't sexual, he may just want to see you nude or more.

I would wait until I trusted him a lot more.

It can be very sexual though.

People end up having hot, steaming sex after a few hours of knowing each other, so no, it's not too early.
It then depends on what YOUR timings are. If you feel like it's not the case yet or you shouldn't before knowing him better, then don't. Doing it while feeling awkward every minute of the way is not gonna make it as funny as it could be.

Skinny dipping does not need to be sexual. It could turn into something sexual however.

the guy probably really likes you and wants to get closer to you. Skinny dipping is a fun way to do it. If u are not ready to be naked with him, just say no, it’s only date #2

Skinny dipping is not automatically a sexual overture but it often is, especially in this context. If you aren't ready to have sex with him, then you should avoid skinnydipping. And don't be surprised if he quickly loses interest or even ghosts you.

Sounds like he’s looking for a “casual” excuse to see you naked (no surprise since he’s , you know, a guy). That’s a bit rich for a 2nd date, unless the guy has no awareness of reasonable boundaries.

I'm sorry but skinny-dipping is sexual. Going swimming while letting it all hang out, if you haven't seen any of the Friday the 13th movies that skinny dipping was mostly involved then you don't know what sexual is.

It only becomes sexual when one of you, or both of you make it sexual. But personally sounds like to me he's sexually attracted to you, so if you want, go with it and see what happens. All depends on whether you like the guy like that or not
