Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI briefly dated a 32 year old when I was 20.
She was a friend of a friend and got interested in meeting me after hearing about me.
It didn't last long, that period was pretty much the peak of my sociability and I was just being a big flirt and messing with every woman around me.
It resulted in a lot of my circle getting infatuated with me, but I wasn't being very serious about any of it, which broke a few hearts.
This particular 32 year old got especially pissy about it, and things ended badly enough that it fractured our friend circles lol.00 Reply

Oldest I dated was like seven or eight years older than me. I was 22, she was 29 at the time. But I use the term "dated" loosely, as she was a psycho British chick. Rich, but crazy. I now kinda miss her. She was so cool for a literal insane woman with DiD.

6 years. He was 28 and I was 22. The best gap. The only time I felt the man I was dating was on the same maturity level as me.

+1 yOnly a bit under three years. I was 24 and she was 21. Normally I didn't date ones so much younger but she lived on her own and was working at a retail shop. I usually dated women sort of in the immediate surrounding, so classmates that were very close to my age in school and mostly women close to my age with very similar styles out of school. She was an exception being quite a bit younger than me but we were both living alone and working and so I think we were able to click more that way.

Usually, I tended to date women very close to my age. My wife is only a year younger than me, for example, and we started dating in our late 20s. It's not that I don't find older or younger women less attractive or anything like that, but I just tended to click more with women close to my age. I was also a city kid so I got immersed in the urban lifestyle. That might have something to do with it. I tended to date women that tended to have something resembling my own life style, and my own life experience, and they were usually pretty close to my age.

Apologies for butting in, I'll be on my way if it isn't welcome, but if you two don't mind me asking: Do either of you have anything to say to those who might question whether you have anything in common with guys that age, and thus, whether the relationship is really merited?
To be clear, I'm not of that opinion, I'm simply curious what someone with these experiences might say in response. - +1 y
