If I rejected a guy and regret it later, how can I have him back? Or what can I do to move on from my regret?

i rejected a guy due to my fear and insecurity, and now i realized that i made a mistake and I regret that decision and want him back, is it possible to get him back? Will he reject me later? Should I just move on?

I didn’t directly reject him, or directly say NO to his advances. It was just me ignoring his messages and replying late.

I left his text on read last month, is it okay to text him now and ask him? What should i text him about? We have nothing in common. We haven’t spoken in a month. by the way he stopped watching my story and it seems he removed me from his contact list. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I can’t stop thinking about him and I can’t move on. It would be hard for me to move on to someone else. I don’t want anybody else other than him. I tried to talk to other guys but it isn't working.

Yes, it is possible to get him back. It depends of the guy but try to talk to him, show that you care. As someone said on here, try to "prove" that you are interested and you care about him.

It is also possible to get a rejection, maybe he lost interested on you, so keep it in your mind. You are the only one who can decided if you move on or try to get that guy. You mentioned that you regret, you can't stop thinking about him and talking to other guys is not working, so you are obviously interested.

I would suggest you to text him, even if you left that guy on read for a month. Keep it simple, say hi and apologize for your lack of communication during that period. I supposed you met at school, college or something, right? So ask about it. Progressively, if you notice him interested, you could go deeper. You are like thinking all day long about him, so talking to him would be the best idea, at least you will close the cycle knowing if he keep interested or not, you will feel relieved after all

Do you know why you can't stop thinking about him? You said yourself you have nothing in common, and by the sounds of it, haven't even talked that much, what's his appeal? And is it really him, or do you miss the attention he gave you maybe? (or something else it gave you). You can try reaching out again and letting him know you're interested, but you'll have to be more direct and straight forward. Probably have to explain why you basically ghosted him, and "prove" you are truly interested (think if it were reversed, what would he have to do to get your attention again, it'll be the same for him).

Yeah we haven't talked that much and we met through our family connection. If you asked me about his appeal, I would say he is gentle, caring, and sweet. And he is attractive. Sadly, it seems that he has moved on from me. He just stopped watching my story and I feel hesitated to make the first move because of the fear of being rejected.
