Do guys care about how shitty a girls car is?

Alright, so I’m in my later 20s and barely getting my life together as a freelancer. Happy to finally be reaching goals! There’s this guy I like who’s on the wealthier side, going to be a doctor and the other day I gave him a ride from a party to get food together. He didn’t make a comment or anything but I was so self conscious because my car is so worn down, old and ugly to say the least.

do guys care about that kinda stuff? I don't know, I feels it’s a reminder we’re from different statuses.

We keep our cars more clean than our rooms, to be honest.
Nevertheless it does not matter if the car is a new model, an old model, or even the body of the car.
What I think matters to us is how well the car is maintained, technically. How is the interior maintained. Because, to be honest, a car is a very small room, so you got to keep it clean at least. Old car interior or new car interior, does not matter.

If you have a car, old, super old, new , latest, or any model, you need to keep your car maintained inside out to connect with the guys more. More comfort in talking.

These are one of those situations where beauty is internal. Cars wear and tear all the time. the outside may look rusted and beat up that no amount of auto cosmetic makeup can hide the dents and scratches. As long as the interior is well maintained like keeping up with the dust keeping trash out stuff like that then there really is no issue. I feel the same way when i give people a ride. Now depending on weather/season some times maintained is not easy to comply with. As long as you try that all that matters. For guys its not about the car that matters its about the driver ;)

All my cars are very nice and all of them and everything inside of all of them are very bright pink just like everything I own and wear. All my houses and everything in my houses are very bright pink too. I wear glasses that are very bright pink. Even the cigarettes I smoke are very bright pink. I do. My ex's car smelled horrible, had trash everywhere (surprised a possum did not make it his home) and if we were taking her car over mine she had to spend ten minutes just cleaning the passenger seat off.

Messy car is now a red flag to me if I'm being honest, because her apartment was most definitely no better. Cleanliness is super important to me. I keep a clean car and home as it does wonders for my mental health. I expect the next person I seriously date to share the same values on this.

Honestly I don’t care if her car is tore up from the floor up, most men don’t. Most of us understand that we came from the same place. That we were once in that situation as well. Even then when you start to reach those goals, making money, etc, most men don’t care about that. A majority of men will date down, a lot of women don’t. I’d date a girl who works at McDonalds as quick as I would a girl who works for a big company. What I do care about is how dirty her car is on the I side as far as trash, clothes, shoes. I know there’s men who are like this but a majority of the time I’ve notice a lot of women’s cars are dirty inside.

It appears that the majority of guys on gag don't care, but I believe some guys really do care depending on how bad it is. 10 years old might not matter, but if it's rusting, held together with string and duct tape, a few faded paint colors, broken seats, smoking exhaust, runs rough, and smells like french fries, they will certainly make a judgement.

Hey, I drive a pretty shitty car, but it gets me from point A to point B. Most people don’t even own their own car, they either Uber or pay car payments so you should be proud of yourself! If it were me, I would say nothing and understand that is what you can afford right now. I would be looking to see if the car is safe to drive.

"This guy I like..." I'm guessing he likes you too or he wouldn't have volunteered to go with you. Invite him out for something you can afford, even if it's just a cup of coffee. If he's interested he will accept.

I’m sure there are exceptions, but guys generally don’t care too much about a woman’s car, wealth, etc. These days a man with money might ask for a prenup before marrying a woman without similar earning potential because alimony can be severe if he doesn’t and things go wrong, but men tend to be attracted initially by a woman’s

Not exactly. I’m a car guy but I don’t expect a date to be. Driving a nice car is a bonus, but taking care of your car regardless, being mindful of the maintenance and keeping it clean is very attractive.
