I think you should just be you, you should not have to do all this extra stuff to keep someone around. If this guy truly likes you for you then you just being yourself will be plenty for him. You should not have to change who you are, or how you act or talk or literally anything about you for another person in this world, you are perfect just the way you are! And if he really thinks he needs more or he needs you to act differently or so forth than he does not deserve you, and you deserve so much better!!
