How might a man categorize me?

I'm in my mid 40s, single, never married, and no children. I believe I am average looking and reasonably intelligent. My weight is something I am working on. Having said that I am petite and on the curvy side. But a little on the shy and introverted side. I've not been in a lot of sexual relationships... only about 5 in my lifetime. No shade to those who've had more. I work and have two grad degrees. I'm often described as down to earth and easy to talk to. Plus I have a sense of humor.

Do men typically see women like myself as wife material. Or, am I only seen as one night stand or side chick material. If so, is there anything I can do to make myself more appealing or am I just a lost cause?

Most men nowadays will not bother with relationships. Most will just look for hookups and / or sex. Finding relationship material is like searching for a needle in a haystack so guys either just stay single, walked away, or just have fun. You mentioned 'only 5 sexual partners' but you, like most women don't realize that has already obliterated your ability to truly bond with a man. Women seem to have no idea the gravity of what having even one partner does to them emotionally and concerning ability to bond.

The more you love. respect, cherish, understand and embrace yourself, the more appealing you will be.

this is the type of question that a young, inexperienced naive girl in her early 20s would ask. There is no single category that all men would put you in. Different guys are attracted to different types of girls. Just because a few guys didn't like you, it doesn't mean that all guys in the world won't like you. Just because many guys like you, it DOESN'T mean that all guys would like you. I've been popular with the guys but at the end of the day, still I've noticed that not all men may like me. Some guys like extroverted girls while others like introverts. Some guys like funny, feisty girls while others like meek girls. There is no one size fits all.

Your chances of finding someone gets slimmer as you get older. This is for both men and women.

there are many men out there who don't want children or already have children. if you're dating a guy in his 40s-50s, he's pretty much bound to already have children.

There are men out there who want marriage but don’t care if they have kids or not. Not everyone wants to have kids or cares very much

For wife material I would go with open minded, kind, funny, loyal, interesting, girly girl, not racist, longer hairs. Other things are not important to me
