I don't have normal social media like instagram or twitter (I'm just not interested) and I don't have a lot of time and energy to do some activities outside school (I already have lots of hobbies and a ton of chores/schoolwork). I go out with my friends but we usually just enjoy eachothers company and don't meet new people, and it would be hard meeting guys anyways since I'm the only straight girl of the group. I wanted to try on the internet but a lot of the ones I've seem are just sketchy and weird. Making sexual comments right off the bat, being interested in my looks only, weebs treating me weird for being Asian and liking anime, a bunch of players who will only pretend to be interested, the list goes on. A lot of my friends started talking to girls online and their relationships actually worked out to certain extent. Is there a way I can meet someone without him being a total weirdo or asshole?

It's rare to meet someone good online when straight but it's definitely possible. I met the love of my like in school online 4 years ago at 17, almost 21 and we're still going strong
