Why do people think that the opposite sex always want someone who treats them like trash?

Men know men. So men will know a guy who isn't good before a woman will. The men who blame the woman for liking the treatment are the men who have some bitterness in their hearts for not being chosen by the women they wanted. If you'll notice, whenever guys make statements like that, they'll never say that a woman chose the guy she was also attracted to. For some reason, a woman's attraction to a man (looks wise) is erased from some mens minds when a woman does her choosing. Most "bad boys" are attractive and that's how they get women, but guys will say she likes the bad treatment to deflect from them not being as attractive.

Secondly, When a woman gets with a man, she is meeting who he is representing. Again, men know men. So a man knows the real guy he is before the woman will. So, the story goes: Woman meets nice man, nice man dates woman, after a while... nice man isn't so nice anymore, the man is now terrible and the woman complains yet, stays with him. To men, they think you like the treatment because you're putting up with it. In their heads, when a woman chooses a bad guy, they think he's always been that way because they knew he was that way. So, they blame you for your choice. When really, you didn't learn he was that way until later on.

Some of my ex-girlfriends from high school did like that I treated them like trash, in fact several of them still hate me today.
