Girls, how long do you think will it take for a girl to trust me online?

I have been talking to a girl online we have been pretty much best friends for quite a while you know and well I have asked her a few things about her not right away after we met but a few months later but she has told me so far is just her name and in which state she lives in and other than that I really don't know much about her but I am really curious now and I wanna know things about her, so how can I get her to actually trust me? cause I don't want her to think I am a creep or a weirdo so I thought I might as well ask a girl about how I can do that.

You can talk to her about common interests you have or even give her tv show, book, song recommendations, etc. if she asks for them. You can also answer any questions she asks and comment on her opinions. Don't try to find out everything about her if you just met her or if you haven't known her very long (like a few weeks or a few months).

Yeah that's something I have always tried to do and not because I have to or because I just wanna know about her but actually because I love to talk to her and I just love the way she talks and her way is enough for me to know how much of a good person she is and I haven't seen her in real life or in a photo but now I think that really doesn't matter and I think to me what really matters is the way she understood me and the way she understood my feelings and my true intentions like no other and I think that's enough for me to really love her and that's why I am crazy and very curious to know about her but I also don't wanna risk losing her so yeah and thanks for your advice I will try to follow it as much as I can.

It might take a while girls are paranoid about stuff like that. Just be patient. It’s also possible she doesn’t like you that way and has no interest in sharing more info about herself with you. Which is totally her right. But either way, be patient and don’t push too hard or you’ll scare her off.

Yeah I am trying best to go slow its just that I am really curious to know about her but I don't wanna hurt her feelings though and I think I like her just by talking to doesn't matter how she looks or anything else and it would be pretty heart breaking to know that she is not interested in me at all because I love her personality and the way she talk you know

Yeah you're right and I guess I will try to although I am a bit scared myself because I don't want her to leave me cause she is actually my only best-friend right now and I think she is a great person plus I don't have anyone else with whom I can talk about my life or my problems and even ask her about her life and her problems and stuff so yeah our conversation has been going pretty well and I don't wanna ruin it but I am also very curious about her and I wanna ask that question to her but I am afraid you know

Also if that doesn’t work just have normal conversation with her like…. If you ask her what’s she doing and she saids I’m playing Xbox or I’m cooking. You could say like oh that’s awesome what’s your favorite video game. Or really you cook what’s your favorite thing to cook and you could say my favorite thing to cook is ribs or lasagna. To get her to have a small conversation that way she can open up to you if she feels safe with that and you get to know more about her..

Sounds like a good idea and yeah I've asked her about every movie and series she watches and I have recommended stuff too plus she plays video games so I even asked and talked about and the thing is I actually love to talk to her and I think I know about her interests too and stuff and I always ask her about her day too and yeah we have been having conversations for months now and I think I might not know about her a lot but I do know her quite a bit and as I said before I love the way she talks so yeah I have tried my best to talk to her as much as I can not because I am gonna have to but because I love to and yeah I am really really curious to know about her now but I am also a little afraid to risk it, which is why like you guys said I am actually trying to have lots of positive and cheering conversations with her and again not because I have to or not because I just wanna know about her but also because I like her and I love to talk to her and thanks guys that cheered me up quite a bit so yeah really really thank you for your help guys

My opinion is that take it slow. Try not to rush into anything. Also tell her something personal about yourself maybe to get her to open up. Also you can try telling her how much you mean to her and how awesome you are to be her friend. This happened to me and my friend when we met at first I thought he was annoyin after a while until he told me something personal and how much he cared about me. One year later we are still best friends and we’re planning on meeting next November😁

Just like you said I am actually taking it slowly and I have told her everything about me too and I think she is a great person but the problem is when I ask her lets say which grade are you in then she always replies with "I would rather not say" and I can understand why she said that but we have been talking since September of 2021 I think and I am really curious about her now to the point where I really wanna know although my goal is to ask her without hurting her feelings, so any advice on how I can ask her?

Yeah but the good news is she actually did tell me today after I asked her and told her how desperate and curious I am and I am very happy today because of it. Although thanks for all you guys help.
