Is a 5'6" guy too short to date in your opinion?

Yes and no.
can depend on a lot of factors. Like if the guy is actually 5 6. I know a guy who is 5 2 and runs around saying he is 5 5. I think he even convinces himself of this.

By western standards. Yes it is very short for a male. With that said. Not every woman is going to feel that way. But given the choice id say most would not have it as a preference.
probably the women least shallow about male height are actually tall women. Mainly because they don’t feel as physically vulnerable as they are closer to male average height. And also they have some good height genes already to pass onto their children. Also sometimes can be insecure themselves and are very used to the feeling of better taller than other women most of their life so it’s kind of a natural state and familiar when with the a short guy.
with that said most tall women like 5 8-5 9 want men who are at least their height. So a 5 8 woman would date a short guy but more 5-7/ 5/8. 5-5/5-6 would be too short for most tall women.
so it leaves most very short men with the option of average height women or short women. Who are more shallow about male height than tall women.
As a short women myself, usually short women are the most shallow with height. But not for asshole reasons. It’s usually because short women feel unsafe and unable to protect themselves. There is something very appealing about a man who can offer protection. It’s sexually a turn on.
secondly there is the awareness that she has short height genes, and needs to overcome this with someone with some good height genes, female nature is to find a mate to help produce good genes for offspring.

so the best bet would be to go for average height women. Or women 5 4.
Of course these are generalisations.

but your questions is like.. is it bad to be a woman with an ugly face, your answer will be of course it is. But doesn’t mean the ugly faced girl can’t get men.
well the height thing is the same for men. Is being 5 6 shit, of course it is. Doesn’t mean you can’t get women though. It’s just not going to be as easy.

Well there is no yes and no, it’s not desirable. But a lot of people have non desirable qualities and still date successfully.

Well most people have an undesirable physical quality. Most likely you are going to have to be with a woman who has something undesirable. Maybe she has bad skin or a fat stomach or her nose is too Big. Most people have physical flaws.

I think your making everything black and white. It’s like you need to be the only man she desires or you’d rather be alone, I’m trying to explain if you have physical flaws. When I have fantasies in my head, it isn’t of flawed men. It’s of the dark tall and handsome type. Or some electrifying male. But I’m not the equivalent in a female form so I could never be with someone like that, deep down inside would I wish that. Sure. Who wouldn’t. But reality kicks in.
