Depends on what it is.
I once, shortly saw this guy, who cried because I moved to the couch in the middle of the night, because he was snoring and kept me awake. ... That was too much... It would be weird no matter the gender.

An ex I was together with for 2 years, he talked about stuff with me, and once we talked about something that happened where he lost some control because of his brother and emotions were high etc, and after that, I felt we were closer than before. And before we dated, we talked together for a few hours in the classroom after class, where he ended up getting teary cause he mentioned something about he wouldn't know what to do if he lost his mom, and I just wanted to hug him and comfort him.
