Why My boyfriend asked my best friend for helping her, actually she has no any problems? This question is normal or kinda too much?

I was going back to my country and my best friend wanted to take off me at the airport. We were together and then my boyfriend called me, he said me that he found a car to drop off me to the airport. He came there and he asked to my best friend “ hey let’s go with my car all together “. She said okay. And we went there all together. They drop me off at the airport. After that, he take her to the her car. When they were going , my boyfriend asked her “ if you need something, just lemme know, I will help for you.” And the he said her “ I forgot that you have a boyfriend never mind then”
she told me like “ hey your boy friend is so good he asked me this question”
and actually she has no any need. He just asked her.
but after I learned it, I feel bad.
what ya think guys? This question is okay or a little bit too much?
