There is nothing to be ashamed about in that. Not everyone needs or wants to get the license, and that is completely okay. It's not a big deal. Just ignore them, people will always find something to pick on, so there is no point to bother with it.

no not everyone needs a driving license so why waste money on it? also, there’s many who can’t afford a driving license at a young age which is also understandable, so anyone who gets judgmental about something like that is an idiot

I have a friend who doesn't have a driver's licence at 55. I don't really understand why not, I couldn't wait to get one, but my children aren't interested in getting one, either. (Maybe it's the way I drive!)
