Does the quality of women that a man attracts an indicator of his own attractiveness? How about for a woman?

So, have you ever noticed, like I have, that the types of women a man attracts has more of an indicator over the type of man he is, as opposed to the reverse for women?
In other words, women attract men of all types and varieties and it is not really indicative of their physical attractiveness. To me, this just means that men aren’t as picky as women. Now, for men, the more attractive women like him, the higher quality I tend to think the man is, of course also him being physically attractive.

when you say "quality of a man/woman" do you refer to just physical attractiveness, or do you refer to other aspects like integrity, personality, values and such...

is it either or a mix or both? that is just unclear to me with the way you phrased all this

Sometimes this is true. Sometimes you see a guy who looks like a real loser dating a really hot girl. I knew a guy who was the manager of the gym I used to work out in. He did not look like a gym manager. He was around 50, smoked constantly, was bald, had a pot belly. He was not wealthy but he had several hot women that he dated. I never figured it out.
