How can I make him send me pics? should I ask it polite or how?

hello everyone. I am texting with a guy almost 2months, but he doesn't still send me his pic with full of face, only whatever parts of his face mostly his chin, lips. and when i ask he says he can't send (because of his job for security) or suddenly changes topic. we talk on phone, he is kind, but i dont know how should i ask him? he always finds excuse, i dont know if i ask it in a calm way or should i insist till he sends? i dont want to say him if he doesn't send i will cut him off, by the way sorry for my English

Well as others have said, there's one of two reasons he's not sending you his picture: 1) he's a catfish and doesn't want you to see how he, or even she, really looks. Or 2) he's insecure about his looks and afraid his picture will run you off.

Let's assume it's the latter. I can relate because I used to have the same issue when I was younger and on dating sites. I was afraid to show guys my picture because I was afraid once they saw me they'd run off and stop talking to me... which YES, did happen quite frequently when I did show them my pictures 🙄
I don't know if that's his issue or not...

I suggest just outright asking him why he won't show you a picture or video chat and see what he says. If it's some weak excuse? Catfish.
But if he seems genuinely insecure about his looks, try to reassure him that you won't judge him.

I would be careful. There are scammers out there who genuinely catfish for money or sex trafficking.

They will pretend to be your perfect someone, someone who sweeps you off your feet, sending you gifts until one day they demand money from you and you realize you still haven't seen their face. Or they'll try to meet up with you in a different country and then kidnap you when you're alone.

It's probably just some bored 55 year old guy, but still I would be careful.

That's why I don't want to date or find a partner online because there are many scams. If I were you, I would invite that person to meet in a crowded place and be accompanied by someone to look after us. because sometimes the photo is different from someone in real life, some people fake their photo from google

I never ask for a photo of from a girl. I usually take the girl to meet somewhere and want to see what she really looks like

Umm... yeah you should definitely ask him. I usually try to get that out of the way at the start lol. "Hey. It's been 2 months since we've been talking. Do you mind sending me a photo of yourself, so I have the pleasure of knowing who I'm talking to? I can send you a photo of me as well."

You can't force someone to do something they are not comfortable with. All you will do is push them away if you keep insisting. He has already stated the reason why he cannot. Why not respect his decision?

i think he is lying, i can find his information on the system (it is available for me at work), i checked but i couldnt get his information, i checked all of the people with his name and surname but i couldnt find, at least we can meet but he changes the topic everytime again

If you are certain or fairly sure he is lying, why continue to talk to him? Someone who lies isn't going to stop at this. There is no future with him if he starts off with lies.

I also have a job the requires a good reputation I am another that won't send a face pic online. What I do if a gal insists online no matter how good we are getting along is warn her, then if she keeps up block her. My compromise is finding a public place to meet as friends then we can see what the other is like.

He may be playing you and doesn't want you to know what he looks like, or it could be someone playing games with you. Ask him for a photo of his face, his address, and phone number and you will get back to him after you receive it.
