I don't think I ever would unless she was just a friend and not a date. I've had that conversation with friends but not dates. It seems a bit forward to me for dates.

I am not sure about it myself, but it's good idea to talk about it before dating, because there is no much point in dating a girl who want totally different number or worse a childfree girl.
