It makes a big difference I' mean for me. When I date a girl I want to know exactly what she is on the inside first because that's her realself that's who she truly is I want to know she's kind if she's happy confident.
if she has a beautiful heart.
If she is smart and yes if she is polite and a caring person
Because that's true she truly is she's not the person on the outside so many people fall In love with the beauty of a person

Being polite is good but it is not going to make you any more attractive if that were the case I would end up chatting up any waitress I ever met but I'm not

Nope my standards are much higher than that
Honestly I've met women who had personalities I was attracted to and they weren't very nice at all (they were really fun though and I quite enjoyed their company which made up for not being nice)

Personality matters, and it can play a part, but it may or may not. Like you with guys I would assume, it's the same thing. It might, or you might just like them as a friend or friendly person. Depends on the person. Being nice in itself isn't enough probably, but combined with other attractive qualities it's a good thing.
