Why didn’t he just unmatch/delete me from the dating app, if he decided to ignore my message the last time we spoke?

We never met, and he can easily unmatch and not make this more awkward and cringeworthy than it already is. I have not sent him any new messages since that last day we spoke, and I’m not planning to. Is he waiting for me to unmatch him? That doesn’t make much sense to me, as he is choosing to ignore me, why not just delete me from his space and stop confusing me?

Well he could be busy. I am facing the same problem on a dating app. She didn't unmatch me or so and is neither replying my text. She clearly seems to like what i texted. Maybe he deleted the app. Or is busy in his work

I think because I mentioned some personal things to him after just 4 days of small amount of talking, like about my ex, and my ill dad (cancer patient). I’m thinking I may have overshared too soon and made him uncomfortable but I refuse to be guilty over this and feel like I said something wrong and it was all my fault. The truth is, he’s wrong for ignoring me without a word. He really should have said something maybe even say he’s not interested in anything long term, and he’s only here for fun. Clearly I’m there to build a foundation with a guy, but it’s looking like he isn’t. Again, as a guy, I’m not sure how to think. It felt like he ran away after reading what I had to say at that moment.

Maybe he's busy or still trying to message the millions of matches. Getting a response or a date on an app is a big achievement for men so some will do anything just to keep more matches because he will never get another chance
