Boyfriend pushed me in the tub?

While I was In the tub Me and my boyfriend was having an argument because we don’t spend any time together and he’s always going out with family and friends I wanted to go out we got into an argument he keep yelling and cutting over me so I told him the conversation was over and tried to get out of the bathroom but he threw my phone in the tub and pushed me in the tub he told me he just reacted and didn’t hurt me is this a sign he might be abusive in the future

It's not to be ignored, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions either (and not being there, it's hard to really comment). If this is the first time, it could've been in the heat of the moment, and you were in a tight environment. I'd analyze what lead to that and know for any future arguments (or talk about it now with him when he's calm about what you'll do or won't do next argument), when to stop and just walk away until you both calm down. He shouldn't have pushed you, but did he feel bad about it at all afterwards?

Like I say, it's not to be ignored, and be cautious moving forward (often if it is a start to physical abuse, it will gradually increase over time, so that's what to watch for), but it could've been a one time thing also and just in the heat of the moment. Maybe he needs help controlling his anger? Or maybe you just happened to push him a bit too far in that moment (not that it's justified, but just a 1 time thing kind of).

The next time you argue just kick him in the balls hard and say you “just reacted” and see how accepting of that excuse he is then. Whatever you choose to do, you need to make it clear to him that putting his hands on you like that is not acceptable at all! I hope this was a one-off incident.
