I am currently dating a Muslim man and I am planning to wear hijab on first date? Is it a good idea or will it come off as mockery or disrespectful?

I don't want to be disrespectful to his culture or anything, I just want to wear it to make him feel special and to let him know I am comfortable with his religious believes.

If it's not part of your culture/religion don't wear it. If he's going out with a non Muslim woman we will not expect it. It might also come off weird or insulting. Instead maybe ask him about his religious beliefs and culture etc.

If you're not a hijabi you don't have to wear a hijab on first date. Just show up as yourself in a nice outfit and makeup that you're comfortable with.
