I asked a girl over text, if she wanted to watch a movie and get something to eat, she said yes. I asked her if she wanted to go on a certain date, she said "Ilyk" it's been over a day now and no response. Will she is there still hope.

Give her another 24 hours and if she does not reply, then you forget about her because she obviously has either forgotten about you or does not really feel like going out on a date.

Those are the hazards of dating and while being rejected is not nice, it is part of the dating game.

Don't be too pushy and don't insist if she does not reply to your next request. That would only make you look needy and that is not something people like, mainly when you barely know that person.

My feeling is that if she does not reply within 24 hours, you have probably lost your chance for a date and then you should move ahead.
