How is too soon to tell my boyfriend I actually prefer him leaving the hair alone instead him shaving his chest?

We just started dating and I'm pretty inexperienced. This is just a thing that kinda bothers me because I love chest hair and he keeps shaving it off... I think it's a bit shame. I love to run my fingers through the hair.

So I was wondering since I'm at the start with him, is it still too soon to talk to him about this?

I know it may sound silly but I don't want to seem like a commanding biatch :D

Haha cool. I used to not shave but trim mine, I did it when competitively swimming so it was habit. My girlfriend told me my chest hair was a turn on for her, and I stopped trimming just like that. My brother is hairier than me and she’d also comment how sexy it looked on him.
