Girls, Do looks matter to y'all or is it about how much money a person has?

Looks and personality matter more than money to me, but it comes with caveats.

It is important to me that any prospective partner has the ability to support themselves (and, ideally, extend that support to me for a short time if necessary - I hold myself to the same standards). Whether that's a formal job or an enterprise or whatever, as long as it's legal, sustainable, and can support them financially, I'm good with it. I have experience dating people who can't support themselves and it's a major turn off for me. Not everyone has this opinion, though.

Looks matter kinda - basic hygiene and health are non-negotiable. However, this is likely to change in my future. I'm coming out of a rough breakup and focusing on my health and looks more - I'm reclaiming old hobbies and activities. My goal is to work up to pretty much daily workouts and hikes. I'm returning to rock climbing and my martial arts club is returning from COVID soon. In future it will be important to me to have a partner who will be up and at 'em physically. I've dated two partners who were lazy and it really didn't jive. They got butthurt I'd want to be out having fun rock climbing or sparring, instead of either joining me or taking the time to do their own physical activity.

But personality is the biggest attractor to me. Money and looks are easily obtained compared to having a good personality. That takes a lot more effort to build and hold space for, in my opinion.

Looks does matter to an extent. Don’t really care much about money but I’m a bit shallow so I want someone that’s at least average or slightly above average look wise.
