Let me tell you some background.

There's this girl in college who suddenly is talking a lot to me, we met because we're taking one class together and the professor picked us to be on the same team for a homework.

She's invited me to drink coffee, the conversation flows perfectly, and we even agreed to do the final work of another subject together (we take the same course, with the same professor but on different days), yesterday I was the entire afternoon with her, we ate lunch together, watched a movie and progressed in the final work.

She's beautiful, we have some common interests and she's treated me better than any girl. The thing is, she's rich and I'm not, and this difference in social classes may become a problem over time

Should I try to leave things just as friends or what?

It's a catch 22, because when things got rough you might be accused of being a gold digger.

If you do pursue it, make sure to have some good arguments so you can find out how she will react with you under pressure, even if you have to apologize for it later.

Also, if she has been spoiled growing up with wealth, nothing you could do may keep her happy.

Be sure she has humility or pass on it for your own well being... I know what I am talking about.

If you really like you then you should ask her out. You might loose your chance. A woman like that will be swept off the market pretty fast. She sounds amazing! If things don't work out... That is why you date to see who you're compatible with.

Well, according to what I've seen, she's not THAT rich.
But for example, the places where she usually goes to eat or the cinemas she goes to, they are a bit expensive for me. She's paid things for both, but things won't be the same all the time

Yeah the restaurants weren't too bad not that I ever paid more than a decent tip (it was a legal factor as well as her willingness)
She never asked for anything and I refused the watch
