Thinking of rescheduling a date because I accidentally cut myself shaving right above my upper lip (and it doesn’t look good). Am I just overreacting?

Here’s what I am worried about I cut myself shaving yesterday and if left sore/scab above my upper lip. I got a first date tomorrow evening and I don’t want her thinking it’s herp?

I met this girl on bumble and we have been chatting for 3 weeks. We had to reschedule twice earlier and I was out of town for most of last week. We are supposed to meet tonight for coffee.

I like this girl. She’s got a lot going for her (good looking, educated, cool hobbies, she likes me, etc). But I know the first impression is a big deal. It’s like the universe conspired against me with this stupid ass razor cut and sore. If I cut myself anywhere else it would be no big deal. But the fact it’s right about my upper lip just doesn’t look good at all.

Don't reschedule again, kinda suprised she's still on when you've done it twice. She'll definitely notice, hopefully she asks, but even if she doesn't, just explain your clumsiness and maybe even point out that you were thinking of cancelling because of it, but couldn't cause you have been wanting to meet her for so long.

Yeah I already joked about in a text earlier. It’s just been a while since I’ve gotten a date with decent prospect in a while. She’s cute but that’s not the only reason I like her.
