Why would a guy ghost a girl he dated instead of breaking up? Why he would do such a thing to a girl he said " he really loved"?

Unfortunately I think that guy was a narcissist. A narcissist will revel in your destruction, and do what it takes to get that because your agony feels good to them. The more he built you up, love bombed you, did nice things to lift your spirits, etc, the harder he knew you’d fall when he swept the rug from under your feet. There’s absolutely no good or logical reason for it. I think narcissists like him are just deeply broken from past hurt, so that want to make others feel that way, and it sucks. I’m really sorry you’re going through this, but a word of advice for the future, is if you spot a narcissist, run fast the other way. Because all the nice and sweet things he does could be a distraction to make you look left, while a sucker punch like this comes from the right.

Hey, I know how to spot a narcissist but he has no other narcissist traits just this... Also I don't think that the reason is other girl cause he could just say it, also he works very long hours (10-11 per day) even on weekends...

Even “just this” is a huge narcissist trait, it doesn’t have to be a plethora of things. You’re right, there probably is not another woman involved. I just think he has trauma from his past he hasn’t dealt with, and as a result he wanted to hurt you, which is very wrong..

Thank you:) yes it is really hard for me...:( I cry every day till my body hurts. I see him being active even my bff wrote to him to simple reply to me because I am feeling really bad but he ignored.

Time heals all wounds so before you know you’ll feel so much better. But going forward, remember this pain because I am certain he will try and come back at some point and when he does, I wouldn’t even give him the time of day for hurting me like this.

ghosting is a weak ass manipulation technique, it doesn't work. The person doing it has no balls to tell you. Anyone can ghost and its used by people who have no brains.
