if no one can know then it won't hurt you. just avoid telling your therapist if your suicidal, hurt yourself or do drugs or stuff like that because then they could get you sent to the hospital or get you arrested or forced into rehab, and yea any of those things could hurt your career
To be honest though i dont think therapy is necessary at all. if you need to talk just do it to very close friends/siblings/family? or people online. it's free and will probably help you a lot better. plus you can order self help books or watch youtube vids, stuff like that, if you want to fix your problems and you need extra help. it's free or costs way less than therapy

You get help from a mental health professional to improve your psyche and wellbeing. I don't know how open you are as a person, but no one really needs to know.
Would you go and study for almost a decade, so you could (instead of helping people) ruin people's lives, lose your job and watch your career waste a way? No? Well, neither most psychologists.
My personal experience is that psychologists are a) not helpful, because their practice is based on junk science, b) instill bad habits in you because you get to sit and complain about your life and they just listen, and c) they are expensive AF.

No. I've had counseling a few times. Don't worry about it.
Well you don't have to tell anyone you're seeing a psychologist.
If it gets out that you saw a shrink it very well might affect your career.
My psychologist is dead, I still have a career. problem?
