I honestly hate receiving messages from guys lol. Unless we are close friends and I know 100% that it’s nothing more than friends, business related, or advice, I don’t mind it… But I would prefer not to talk to or receive messages from guys, out of respect for my boyfriend and my sanity lol.


My thoughts are; “Here we go again…” when I receive a message from a guy. 9 times out of 10, it’s always a compliment, flirts, trying to get to know me to date/fuck me, or trying to “catch up with me,” and all of these attempts are things I am not comfortable with, because I know their intentions.


Now, I usually get a text message from a guys I used to know, it’s always a guy from my high school who I was friends with in school or in class with. Mind you, just friends and nothing more. However, I always notice that these guys have had a long term relationship, but all of a sudden those pictures of them disappear, and here comes a text from them trying to “catch up” with me or flirt. Soooo annoying lol. Those are my thoughts.

I usually get PMs from guys and barely girls. I don't give it much though except some of them are pervs but some are pretty nice.

Probably 80+% of the PMs I get are from young women (usually college age). At my age they obviously aren't after my dick.

The large majority are either legitimate questions that they want help with, or they are advertising their OnlyFans or something similar.

To be honest, even with legit questions I tend to ignore them. It's not that I don't like talking to people. In RL I'm very talkative and will talk to just about anyone. It's just that I used to spend a large amount of time talking to people online and got burned out on it.

I used to do a lot on IM. When it was real time conversation it flowed pretty well. I've had some good online friends over the years that I've spent probably hundreds or even thousands of hours talking to on IM.

I find that PMs on a site like this tend to be awkward and not flow as well as real time IM.
