Would date your parents' enemy's son or daughter?

I have talking to this guy since a long time. He just ghosts me and then messages me out of no where, saying very deep and emotional stuff. He just told me that he is in love with me. He said he probably gonna regret it later. I am damn sure He is not gonna text me again for another couple of months. Everytime he says he wants to meet me I make an excuse. I don't wanna be seen with him by my parents. And also because my intuition tells me that he is one of the guy that emotionally manipulate girls to get what they want. He is saying stuff like "I wanna see you happy. I gonna be there with you till I die. You are the only girl I have loved" Not gonna lie It makes me happy but also scared that he gonna turned out to a jerk. I don't think anyone give a fuck unless it benefits them. It's not first time happening to me.
