How often do you find someone you like a lot and connect a lot?

Do you think u fall in love with someone who u like and connect a lot?
Well I'm asking for experiences, because I have a friend with benefits that we are good friends and we connect very deep, we have great fun, its hard for me to find someone like him, it's actually the first time and I'm 26. But I don't know if he sees that as important as me, I don't know how guys are when they see they connect very well with a girl and it's not like with everybody else and how often that happens to u I wish to know more bc I feel that it's different from girls
