I've always been a more shy kind of guy. I'm looking for advice on where is the best place to meet girls and what is the best way to approach them?

I personally feel like the best way to meet a girl is through a mutual friend or someone who could at least recognize you. I say this because I personally don’t like it when I’m just trying to have fun in a public place and a random guy approaches me. But that’s just me! :)
