What I'm tired of is the underlying reasons behind it. The divisive gender based politics today are driving a wedge between the sexes and the divide gets deeper every day.

I'm talking about feminism, and the mirror image men's groups feminism spawned in response to its gynocentrism and misandry. The misogyny among those men's groups is in direct response to the misandry and anti-male nature of modern feminism, and now both just hurl hate at each other and escalate the rhetoric against the one another.

You can say all you want about what true feminism is and isn't, which is just a deflection tactic, but the reality of today's feminism is that it is gynocentric, sexist, toxic, divisive, and men have every right to be angry about it, just like women have a right to be angry about the misogyny coming from angry men.

As long as we as a society support feminism in its current form, the division will only continue to deepen because men will just keep getting angrier and women will just keep getting angrier at men. And stuff like "where have all the good men/women gone" is nothing but a symptom of that hatred and division.

It’s like some people are scratching for something to be upset about when there really isn’t anything to be upset about. Some man don’t except that the woman doesn’t want to just be in the household anymore and that’s been the thing that’s been the root of why some men are upset about it

There are definitely some men who are unhappy about women leaving traditional gender roles, but you are sorely mistaken if you think that is the primary reason men are so angry at women today.

Well that is the number one thing that comes up.
They don’t like women that are too independent, working multiple jobs, more edu, matching income, having full autonomy over our own bodies, saying no.

Most women are very stable/established and. made it home she is oriented to think that way.

I don't know what podcasts you're listening to but most guys today don't expect women to be housewives. If you think they do then you are listening to some weird shit. But men are sick of being demonized, told we are privileged oppressors, that men and fathers are unnecessary, that men's rights and issues are unimportant compared to women's, that women in places like the US still have fewer rights and privileges than men, that we live in a patriarchy that holds women down and it's men's fault, that gender roles are bad thing except the ones that benefit women. I could go on and on, but the point is that feminism claims to be about equality, but it clearly cares only about females and doesn't give a fuck about males, but it absolutely controls the gender dialog in the mainstream today. And any time a man speaks out about any of this he's called a misogynist. Feminism uses it's power and influence to maintain an unwarranted sense of anger toward males so that it can retain it's power and influence and remain relevant, and to push a very gynocentric view and approach to any gender issues. Men have had enough of all of that, they're getting really angry about it and that anger is directed at women, as it should be. That anger permeates the collective male psyche in the US today, and that is the reason for all of this. Does that help?

Nobody’s making the man obsolete. Because I love my father I talk to him just about every day. It was based on a patriarchal society. In little regards to women. We were breeders. At this point things have changed. We can bring something to the table more than just sex and an incubation. You also have to understand there are some men out there that are just simply the worst vice versa for women. Feminism is not based off of that you can look up womanism or Africana womanism That I can give you some better insight to what it truly is and not what you just posted

I´m not sure if I can agree because it´s not always just the stereotypical lines but sometimes there are actually helpful answers found under such questions. For me it´s also important because I grew up with a negative picture of masculinity so it helps me understand expectations I consider rather hidden than obvious since they are often taken for granted that I didn´t always know about.
I find those debates also interesting because I feel like it´s hard to find a commonly shared definition that really all people could share.

I would think the whole point to open up about another gender is to get a better insight on how to approach that gender but nowadays everything is taken out of context and people are easily offended and you don’t know who side you’re on and what you’re doing
