My best female friend is trying to play match maker when neither of us have shown any intrest. Why?

So basically my friend is telling me to talk to her friend who I met once. When I asked why she has brought this up again she said because we have common interests. I then asked if her friend has mentioned me and she said no. So what's the point? Should I trust her match making?
