Ever been left totally confused about someone and how they felt about you?

i was running on the impression she was interested but now not so sure. in fact it might of all been a lie for reasons entirely unrelated to dating. although have a hard time believing she was not at least somewhat genuine most of the time when with me

i don't know it no longer makes any sense and she seems to be distancing herself from me. i feel like i won't be able to get any honest answers out of her at this point and not sure what to do or say when i see her again

That has never happened to me. What are the reasons totally unrelated to dating why she might’ve lied?

well i spent a lot of time with her at her work which was a restaurant , its possible she lied to me so she could make more money , its kind of hard to explain the whole thing and doesn't make a lot of sense

its also possible she did like me but got annoyed with me over something i did , perhaps another girl from her work. its also possible our friendship just wasn't clearly defined , maybe she felt it was but i didn't

part of the problem is so many of our interactions happened when she was working there , although i did talk to her when she was off work various times and at another bar one night.

perhaps it was my bad and i should of been more clear early on what i wanted instead of letting the status quo drag on for weeks

she can make a lot of money at the restaurant where she works especially during the summer which is why that plays into my doubts about her , although i always felt out interactions were genuine and we talked about things unrelated to her work on many occasions

It’s possible she’s just not into you and only likes you as a friend

i looked at it from that perspective and even then it doesn't make 100 % sense to me. but agree its possible i misread things , obviously something wasn't as it appeared or someone wasn't entirely open about there life outside of the pub. i hope she still likes me as a friend cause we did seem to get along so well

haven't been able to find her this week , not at the restaurant when i went but might of been working nights instead , going to try and talk to her lightly and see what she has to say if anything. one of her girlfriend's works there too and she might know more if i can get her to say anything about this

it could be tough to talk to them about more private things in a public setting unless i get more alone time with them less likely on a weekend.

Talk to her. If she’s willing to talk to you in private. She might not be. Maybe try texting her.

Maybe. But if you’ve really misjudged the situation she might not wanna go off in private with you, especially at work with her boss and coworkers watching.
