What is a normal sex life? What about dating life? Do most people get fwbs or hookups? What about relationships?

I just feel lost and outdated because I'm already too old to not have experience with any of that and i feel like most people surpass me by miles 😕😕😕

I have no idea how to get dates, girl's or love. The people that love me are my friends and family but I want something personal 🥺🥺🥺

I think honestly you shouldn’t worry so much, you’re not alone, there’s a lot of people in your situation. I’m 27, never had a girlfriend, never had sex, never kissed. Never felt loved.
I tried and had only bad rejections that destroyed my self esteem and ruined some dear friendships, so I stopped every form of dating for 10 years, only recently I tried again but zero success, due also to my total inexperience and other factors of my personality (shyness, low self esteem, introversion and discouraging attitude).


So.. to answer, there’s not a single way to achieve a healthy sex and dating life, since needs of everyone are different from the ones of the others, healthy sex and love life is the one which satisfies you.
So.. if you’re not satisfied with your life and you want to improve, I suggest you to try getting some hobbies or sports that make you be in contact with girls and maybe you find someone to get along with. Having friends girls is one first step, they can really help you improve and better yourself… but really, there are two big lies that are always told in this matter: “the right one will arrive” and “be yourself, it’s the best way to be appreciated”. I think both of them are very ingenuous and lying sentences.

I too have no idea buddy. FWBs, hookups, casual dating, etc. I have zero clue what any of it means and how people just go about doing that. Some might say get out of your parents home, but just living a life in your head can also deprive you of the details within social life. I still pick up on little social details that one would find "normal" on a day by day basis. Sometimes, I wish I knew what a normal sex life entailed, and other times, I think that starting now is a waste of my time at my age and I should just continue focusing on my career, as I've done to the detriment of everything else.

lf you think you are “ innately scared of something” go talk to someone. Nothing wrong with having a chat with a therapist. I knew people in their 20s post college who went to therapists for dating and relationships, nothing weird about that

I have, I dropped a 45 pound plate on my toes and broke 2 of them. Haven't been there since but I am doing cardio exercises and other things at home
