How do non disabled girls feel about dating a guy with a disability?

Honestly it a really tricky one. In sure if I loved someone I'd make it work. Like if my boyfriend turned disabled one day I'd still be by his side everyday and love him just as much as I did before but it would break my heart if they were suffering.

If I was starting a relationship with a person who was already disabled it would have to depend on the disability. Like if he was in a wheelchair I could probably get over that but if he was epileptic for example I just couldn't.

For example my late cusion best friend who very sadly also passed away not to long ago after having a really bad epileptic seizure once asked out my stister at a party, she already had a boyfriend so kindly regretted him. I always felt so sad for him. He was a lovely lad and had a great personality and I think all he wanted was a normal life like his mates but no girl wanted to date him because of his epilepsy. It would be a lot to take on and be very scary. His epilepsy was so bad he couldn't go work and had to live with his parents unfortunately I couldn't see any woman wanting to be with a man who couldn't support himself as horrible as that may sound it's the harsh truth and life can be extremely cruel. Plus he died can imagine how heart breaking that would be if he had a girlfriend no woman is gonna sign up to have her heart broken knowingly.

When I was 14 I “dated” a guy that had slight autism. I didn’t mind it at all. I found that he was actually very caring and noticed things that many people would look over like my favorite type of pen which he bought me a pack for our “anniversary”. I say it like that bc we were so young but we are still friends too this day.

I would not date someone that has major disabilities which affect their everyday life. Say, I wouldn’t date a man who is blind, deaf, paralyzed or severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia.

I would date someone who has autism, anxiety, adhd etc. It depends on the disability.

Depends on the kind of disability…

personally I’m very intellectual and nerdy so I don’t think dating someone with a learning disability for example, would be easy for either of us and it likely wouldn’t be a good fit (doesn’t mean it can’t tho).

but if it’s physical I don’t really why not if you can still do the things you like together

There’s someone for everyone. Personally my life is just way too crazy to have to have to then worry about my partner and taking care of them. Not to say I’d never date someone with a disability, I definitely would but right now I’m not in the place to be able to

I'm disabled and have only dated normal guys so don't worry about it. If it's a good person they won't care. I'd date a disabled person if I liked them
