It doesn't really effect you in that way. I suppose there are positives like having a regular sleep schedule and a boosted mood when high. That said, it's not something that makes you emotionally unstable. It's not addictive. You don't get cravings or swing in emotional state. Some people that are already emotionally unstable or depressed might use it to give themselves a positive boost a few times a day or to fix their insomnia to even things out for them, but it's not the weed that made them unstable, they were unstable for other reasons and they are self medicating to cope.

For example bipolar disorder and depressed people are a mess in general. They often see some sort of benefit from smoking a little weed every day. It will make them a little happier when they are depressive and it will chill them out when they are in a mania.

It's like having something that makes you happy and relieves stress, no different from alcohol. It doesn't make anyone unstable. Sure after a while I think some people can be dependent on it if that's what they need to feel fulfilled, but never unstable.

Means they’re unstable and addicted. A person who is emotionally stable would not be smoking weed or be addicted to drugs

I would consider that to be an addict which means unstable. They can not function without the weed and without it their mood is changed and unstable.
