Me and my brother go drinking together in two different pubs, so we see the regulars. I work full time, so I’m only out when I’m not working (not often out).
There’s a mother and daughter who I’ve seen several times, they haven’t really engaged in conversation with me or my brother.
Last weekend, the daughter came up to me and said ‘we’re going now’. Then went to shake my hand (she suggested the hand shake). Then as she shook my hand, she kissed it as well.
Before she left I went ‘are you going *this different pub*’
she said ‘yes we are’
I explained we’re going there too.
Then in the other pub, she didn’t really acknowledge me but I seen her looking a few times?
She’s confused me so much. People often assume I’m straight, so I don’t know if she was testing whether I was straight or not? But I gave nothing away.
When I next see her, I’m going to try and engage in a conversation with her. I do find her extremely attractive.
However, what if I’ve read it all wrong? She could have just been really polite and she isn’t interested in me.
I already have very little confidence as it is, her rejecting me is going to knock it down even lower. Not to mention the humiliation I’ll experience everytime I see her face again.
Any advice what I should do?
Do you think she was trying to flirt?
