Honestly, not to be insulting, but because you are 18 years old and its a very common thing for an 18 old girl in a her first adult relationship to feel insecure about.

The fact that he sees her all the time is not very reassuring, but it is what it is... I would not be so upset about the virginity thing, but the constant contact I can understand. But if you trust him then there should be no issue.
