We’ve been on 5 dates but going officially official hasn’t been brought up yet. Is this bad or do most people need more time?

My girlfriend and I dated for a little over 2 months before we got into a relationship. We both were already a couple dates in with other people as well. I feel like the best thing you can do is not worry so much about locking him down and pay more attention to whether or not he's a good match for you. It can sometimes be difficult to seporate infatuation from love early on in a relationship. You could move in together 6 months from now and find out quickly that you hate each other (x people are complicated, give the relationship time to blossom naturally. Soon you'll find, or not find, that you're basically a relationship anyway, just without the label.
