How to get over an infatuation?

But the person is so attractive, sweet and cute.

They accept you for who you are but at the same time they have loyalty issues and you want it to last a lifetime.

When people are infatuated with someone, it's usually because they've created an illusion of them in their head. They think about how their life could be together. That's a fake persona they've created in their own mind. . If you were dating him, your illusion would become shattered because he wouldn't be loyal to you.

The pain he'd cause you would take place of the acceptance feeling you have. Focus on how bad he'd make you feel if he was disloyal to you.

In my opinion, If someone can't provide loyalty, then all of their qualites are worthless. You can't build a lasting relationship if someone can't be loyal. He may accept you for who you are, but you'd soon forget that if he hurt you because he can't be loyal to you.

Yes true, he accepts me for my bad traits but at the same time he likes seeing multiple girls. You're right, thank you so much for telling that the other qualities are worthless if they ain't loyal. With no loyalty, separation is guaranteed which is a waste of time.

I can totally relate to be I graduated with someone who isn't loyal. I've been in this situation in the past. I liked him a hell of a lot. I could talk about anything and everything to him. He accepted me for who I am. Not many people do. But he had the traits of a player. I knew he'd be untrusworthy in a relationship. And I know the cost of betrayal. So I focused on the hurt if feel if he betrayed me if we were together. That helped me let go of the infatuation I had for him. Infatuation is a good feeling, but heartbreak is devastating to your soul. It cuts ypu to the core and it's not easy to recover from

I'm happy that it got better for you too. Actually this guy wasted my 2 months acting like he cared, he never let me go, reached out from everywhere but after collecting many red flags within these 2 months, one hit the final straw and I let him go. He is just now another random stranger for me.

I foolishly ignored the red flags because I liked him so much. I regretted it and learned a lesson the hard and painful way. Now, I never ignore red flags. Too many people out there play mind games and play with people's feelings and emotions. So at least you're not naive to his games.
